Cassi is a provisional psychologist committed to advancing social welfare through compassionate, inclusive, and community-focused mental health care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Edith Cowan University, a post graduate diploma in Psychology from Federation University Ballarat, where her research explored adult attachment styles and parenting styles, recognising that a person is a better parent when they are filling their own bucket too, and a Master of Professional Psychology from La Trobe University.

Cassi’s work is guided by values of equity, accessibility, and social justice. She has supported individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, neurodivergence, academic stress, learning difficulties, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. She is particularly attuned to the needs of young people and families facing structural or systemic barriers to wellbeing and education.

With a collaborative and strengths-based approach, Cassi has worked alongside families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create environments that foster inclusion, safety, and personal growth. She also has experience in psychometric assessments, helping to identify cognitive and learning profiles, and tailoring support to enhance both individual and community outcomes.

Cassi is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents in ways that are respectful, affirming, and grounded in advocacy. She integrates a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) — and draws from attachment and family systems theories to guide her work.

Believing that mental health cannot be separated from social context, Cassi is deeply committed to creating safe, empowering spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Her practice reflects a broader vision of social welfare — one that champions connection, inclusion, and systemic change to support individuals and the communities they belong to.
